Our sexual health program provides culturally-competent individual and group-based sexual health education and empowerment, as well as HIV and STI testing and counseling.
About the Sexual Health & Wellness Program
We believe that sexual wellness is an important component of overall health and we seek to break down stigmas surrounding sexual activity and STIs.
We aim to create a supportive and sex-positive environment that promotes sexual education and open dialogue.
We embrace the diversity of human sexuality. Our program is welcoming to individuals of all genders, orientations, and identities. We believe knowledge is the foundation of sexual wellness. Our program offers comprehensive, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive sexual education to help individuals make informed choices and decisions about their sexual health. We empower individuals to take control of their sexual health by offering access to STI screenings, preventative care, and counseling services. These services, along with access to safer sex kits, can be utilized from 3-9 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Our Sexual Wellness Initiative
Our Sexual Health and Wellness Program is informed by our desire to infuse adequate education and resources throughout the community.
Further, we recognize and celebrate the knowledge and experiences that our community members share with us and one another that, ultimately, contribute to a valuable exchange of community knowledge. This is invaluable, as we believe that everyone is the master of their own experiences. By bringing those experiences together, we open the space for deep, expansive stories to be told that paint more full pictures of human interactions.

Is it safe to get STI tested?
Yes. STI screenings at TaskForce are not only safe, but confidential. All of our staff members are certified to conduct tests and our organization can assist you with counseling or further resources if need be. We encourage everyone to get tested regularly.
